A week ago Solidworks User Group Network held the 7th SLUGME!

#SLUGME7 was the 7th edition of SOLIDWORKS Largest User Group Meeting Ever. It was a 6hr Live meeting that was telecasted on #youtube from 7:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST on September 10. As it was the 7th edition, #swugn did 7 charitable projects on 7 continents. In #India, SWUGN hosted a certification drive in both #physical and #virtual mode for the first time. It was great to be a part of this event as I got to meet other swung leaders of India and connect with Dassault Systemes employees of India! Physical events were held at Pune and Bengaluru offices.

Even though it was raining during the physical certification event at the Pune office, participants came to the office to get certified. One of the participants, Jus Jaisinghani, came from Mumbai for the event. For the Bengaluru event, one participant, BALAJI G, came from Chennai to take the certification. Hundreds of people utilized the virtual certification drive. It was an amazing event and a wonderful experience!

I thank Anurag Shukla, Pradeep Niduram, Harsha HegdeRichie M., Sagar Gajanan KASHID from the Dassault Systems Pune office, and Divakar G M from the Dassault Systemes Bengaluru office for their support and for helping us make this event possible!

Also, I'd like to thank Dan Wagner, Mike Puckett, and Eric Beatty for organizing the #indiabuild for SLUGME7.

Bengaluru Urban Solidworks User Group (BU-SWUG) also hosted a physical watch party to meet other Solidworks users from the city and have a great time watching slugme7 together. 5 people attended the watch party from the city. It was fun meeting other Solidworks users and watching the slugme together.

Looking forward to #SLUGME8!
